Culture in Wallace

Date-night! We went to the concert in the park (Madonna Nash) and had a picnic...and enjoyed the other folks taking in some Thursday-night culture.
You see, here in Wallace, outside of our beloved auction, and the extravaganza of the stockyards, and the endless fascination of Wal-mart (Wallace-mart, or Small-mart) ... there isn't much to do here. At least since the daycare center/ moonshine distributor was closed down, and the shooting at Pizza Hut... nothing left to do but chew bottles and be stylin' in the 'sport socks' (and *why* would that remind me of Daddy? hummm?)
Seriously, it's really nice- the concerts, and we had a wonderful time. Charles knows everyone and was sharing the turkey story (amazement), I was trying not to get sandwich on my dress (successful!) and swatting yellow flys. There was a Max-type dog there with a big polkadot blue bow... I'm thinking Max might come along next time, except the bow would have to be pink and manz doesn't quite agree with that.
